A deaf child’s Disneyland vacation became even more magical when a Disney cast member portraying the Toy Story character Woody communicated with her in American Sign Language (ASL).
The girl’s mother, Jessika Moore, shared a video of the interaction on TikTok on April 1, and the now-viral moment has since received over 1 million views.
“It was our first time there as a family,” Jessika said, per Storyful.
“My kids had so much fun. I was a little overwhelmed with all of it because of my daughter’s disability. Our family saw Woody doing a meet-and-greet and waited our turn to get his picture," she continued

Jessika said the actor portraying the character soon realized her daughter, Aureliana, was deaf and asked her name in ASL.
“I grabbed my phone as fast as I could and started recording the moment,” Jessika said, adding, “Woody made her day.”
